Memoni khatty aalu is popular in town, but most of you haven’t tried those scrumptious hara masala aalu made in memoni household. This is authentic recipe of my home which I am going to share with you. Try it at home and believe me, you will feel Burst of yumminess in your mouth. What the plus point are; easy to make, people on diet can eat this worry free because of the healthy ingredients used , so this is gonna be a recipe specially for weight watchers and memoni khatty aalu lovers.

Ingredients:

  • Potato 4 large
  • Hari chutni half cup
  • Yogurt 3 tablespoon
  • Tamarind pulp 4 tablespoon
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Oil 1/4th cup
  • Curry leaves few

For hari chutni:

  • Coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Mint leaves 1 bunch
  • Green chilli 6 large
  • Cumin seed 1 teaspoon
  • Jaggery 4 tablespoon
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic paste 2 teaspoon
  • Desicated coconut 4 tablespoon
  • Tamarind pulp 4 tablespoon

Blend all in a blender to form a thick paste. Keep aside

Boil and peel potatoes then cut each into 8 pieces, heat oil in a skillet,add curry leaves, add hari chutni , yogurt and tamarind pulp, cook for 5 minutes and add potatoes, simmer till the excess water evaporates and potatoes seeps in the flavors of hari chutni , there is no need to add extra water as yogurt is already in the mixture . Remove from heat. Transfer to a bowl. Serve with extra hari chutni for chutni lovers
