Chocolate Tiramisu- Eggless

2 tablespoons coco powder, plus more for garnish
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
4 ounces (1 + 1/3 cups) semisweet chocolate or chocolate chips
1 bar (8 ounces) cream cheese or same quantity of mascarpone cream
3/4 cup powdered sugar
Ladyfinger cookies or sponge cookies

In a bowl, mix cocoa powder with 1 cup hot water until it dissolves.

In a bowl, place 1/2 cup cream and all the chocolate. Microwave it for 1 minute. Take it out stir and if needed put it back in microwave for 30 seconds until completely melted and mixed. Cool this mixture for 5 minutes to bring to room temperature.

If you don’t have a microwave use a double boiler.

Transfer the cooled chocolate mixture to a mixing bowl add cream cheese and sugar. Using an electric mixer, beat until blended. Add remaining cream beat chocolate filling until fluffy.

Spread some of this chocolate filling in the bottom of a serving dish. One at a time, dip the ladyfingers in coco and water mixture, then arrange in a single layer in dish. Repeat with two more layers, ending with filling.

Cover tiramisu, and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Dust with coco powder before serving. (I added a layer of plain cream before adding the coco powder). You can also add two teaspoon coffee powder in coco mixture and water .
