for honey cinnamon pie crust:

  • Bread slices.      6 slices
  • Cinnamon powder      1 1/2 gm or quarter teaspoon
  • Honey.    30 ml or 5 table spoon

Toast the bread slices in a toaster or else you can use bran rusk for that too. Crush into the fine powder with the help of ginder or blender until it forms breadcrumbs. Add cinnamon powder and mix well. Add honey a table spoon at a time and mix it until it resembles like a hard dough. Spread it into the bottom of a 6″ pie pan or flan case, press with finger tips moistened occasionally with water if needed. Chill a little before adding the filling.

for the filling:

  • cornflour.   4 teaspoon
  • Skimmed milk.     2 cups or 400 ml
  • Coffee powder.     2 teaspoon
  • Gelatin.       6 teaspoon or 30 gms
  • Cocoa powder.      4 teaspoon
  • Artificial sweetener(sucral)     to taste
  • Vanilla extract.    Few drops
  • Dates slice, walnut chopped, coconut flaks and chocolate chips for garnish


Dissolve the cornflour in skimmed milk. Add the coffee powder and cook on slow flame, stirring constantly, till the mixture thickens. Remove from flame and keep it aside. In few tablespoon hot water dissolve the gelatin and Cocoa powder and add to the coffee mixture. Add the vanilla extract and mix well, keep aside to cool.

After Cool, pour the mixture over honey cinnamon pie crust. Chill until the mixture sets, garnish with chopped walnuts, shredded coconut,slied dates and chocolate chips. Serve chilled
